Fingerprints for teachers
Register With OPAL
If you need fingerprints for the Nevada Dept. of Education, you must:
- Register with the OPAL system online and pay their fee.
- Once registration with OPAL is completed, you can head to our office with your photo ID.
- You do not need any paperwork. We must find you in the OPAL system or see your email receipt in order to fingerprint you.
- After completing your Live Scan process, we will update your status in the OPAL system. The FBI will automatically send your results to the Dept of Education.
Fingerprint Fee
The fee is $25. Pay by cash or card (we recommend teachers pay by card to prove they were at our office). We will also issue a paper receipt.
